What if there is only
One Mind
knowing itself?

Not a belief. Not a philosophy.
A living recognition available right now.

THE PREMISE

All Is Mind.
One Reality.
No Separation.

For over sixty years, this has been our single, unflinching premise. Not a comforting idea. Not a spiritual belief system. A direct recognition — available to anyone willing to look.

What you call "the world" — every object, every thought, every body, every moment of experience — is Consciousness knowing itself. There is no outside. There is no other. There is only This.

This is what the great traditions call Nonduality. We have called it Scientific Metaphysics. The pointing is the same.

“All means everything that exists or seems to exist. Mind means consciousness — the capacity for awareness. Manifestation means every facet of man and universe. One complete, perfect unity that cannot be divided without loss of identity.”
— Margaret Laird, 1965
“The premise ALL IS MIND propels the honest thinker into the fast currents of modern thought — into quantum physics, consciousness studies, mystical traditions East and West. All arrive at the same shoreless ocean.”
— Betty Albee, IMS

FOUR WAYS IN

How would you like to enter?

Every door opens into the same room.

1885

Margaret Laird · 1885–1982

A nondual pioneer — decades before the word existed.

Margaret Laird followed the premise "All Is Mind" wherever it led — out of organized religion, beyond the comfort of conventional metaphysics, into the raw territory of pure monism. She found there what every genuine mystic finds: one undivided Reality, aware of itself.

Her books remain among the most uncompromising statements of nonduality in the English language. Today her work stands alongside Nisargadatta, Ramana, Rupert Spira — pointing at the same recognition from a distinctly Western, scientifically rigorous angle.

Laird & Nisargadatta

"There is only one Being. All apparent multiplicity is within that one awareness." — virtually identical to Laird's own formulation: "One I-Us, indivisible."

Laird & Quantum Physics

Amit Goswami's thesis — "consciousness is the ground of being" — is the same premise Laird was teaching in Chicago in the 1940s, in the language of pure metaphysics.

Laird & Rupert Spira

"Experience is the knowing of our own being." Spira. "Consciousness constitutes the entire spectrum of experience." Laird. One voice, two centuries.

THE GREAT STREAMS

Many fingers. One moon.

Every authentic tradition arrives at the same recognition.

India · Advaita Vedanta

Tat Tvam Asi

"That thou art." You are the awareness in which all things appear — not a person observing reality, but Reality itself.

Japan · Zen Buddhism

Sunyata

Emptiness that is fullness. The gateless gate. No separate self was ever born — and none has ever died.

Persia · Sufi Islam

Tawhid

The Unity of Being. Rumi's reed flute cries not for a distant God, but for its own nature — which never left.

Germany · Christian Mysticism

Gottheit

Meister Eckhart: "The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me." Identity, not devotion.

China · Taoism

Wu Wei

The Tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao. Before naming, before division — that is what you are.

San Jose · Scientific Metaphysics

All Is Mind

Margaret Laird's uncompromising Western monism: one Consciousness, constituting the entire spectrum of experience, without exception.

"Who is aware
right now?"

This question has no answer you can think. It can only be lived.
